WHISPERS OF WHITE: A TIMELESS LOVE AT AUTUMN CREST

When I first met Natalie, she was looking for someone to bring her wedding floral vision to life. She had struggled to find a florist who was willing to work within her budget while still honoring her style. At one point, she even considered doing the flowers herself. She visited a wholesaler in Nashville, hoping for some guidance, but when she showed me what they had suggested, I could immediately tell it wasn’t right. The order wasn’t balanced, the selections didn’t align with her vision, and it was clear that her needs had not been fully understood.

Natalie reached out to me about two months before her wedding. We spent three days going back and forth, brainstorming ideas, and fine-tuning every detail until we curated something truly special. She was one of the most focused brides I’ve ever worked with—she knew exactly what she wanted, and her style was impeccable. That clarity made working with her an absolute joy.

For her reception, she envisioned simple elegance. With all her guests dressed in black, she wanted the florals to be the heart of the celebration. She told me, “I want something timeless.” That statement guided my entire approach. I poured everything into designing florals that would not only reflect her vision but also stand the test of time in beauty and style.

When it came to the ceremony, she wasn’t quite sure how to work with the space. I suggested keeping it simple, and she trusted me completely. To bring her vision to life, I added smilax to the walls, creating a natural, effortless feel that suited her aesthetic perfectly.

One of her biggest floral requests was a staircase overflowing with white blooms, and as you can see in the pictures below, it turned out absolutely breathtaking. But here’s the kicker—this masterpiece was 100% my husband’s work. He built it from start to finish, and it was truly a showstopper. Technically, he’s my only full-time employee, but since I don’t pay him, I guess that just makes him my most dedicated volunteer.

Looking back at Natalie’s wedding, it was a perfect example of what happens when trust and creativity come together. She believed in my vision, and I was honored to bring hers to life. Weddings like hers remind me why I love what I do—each one is a unique reflection of a couple’s love story, and I get to be a part of that magic.

If you’re a bride looking for someone to create something truly special for your day, let’s chat.

I’d love to help bring your vision to life, just like I did for Natalie.
